It is with deep sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of Paul Scheller who left us in the early morning of April 27th, 2025 at the age of 72. Paul leaves behind a legacy of adventure, devotion, and laughter.
Born on July 25th, 1952 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Paul was a spirited soul who never wasted a moment to make someone's day better. He found his greatest happiness in the presence of his family and the beauty of the natural world. Whether enjoying time outside in the backyard at home, or sitting around a fire up north on Lake Superior, he embraced the outdoors as both a playground and a place of peace.
Above all, Paul was a loving father, husband, and friend. He taught us the value of hard work, laughter, and living with intention. A true showman, his energy was contagious, his stories unforgettable, and his heart boundless.
Proceeded in death by parents Josephine and Bernard Scheller, and brother David.
He is survived by his wife Anne and his children Emily and Scott who will carry forward his love for adventure, his deep sense of compassion, and his sense of humor.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held on June 22nd, 2025 at his favorite park. A private burial service will be held at Fort Snelling on June 30th, 2025. The family asks that you honor his memory by spending time in nature, sharing a moment with loved ones, or doing something that ignites laughter- just as he would have done.
