Paul Robert Shelton

High Point – Paul Robert Shelton, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Kernersville Medical Center.
Paul was born December 5, 1933, in Rockingham County, NC to the late George Robert Shelton and Greta Jane Mabe Shelton. In addition to his parents; siblings, George Shelton, Polly Hinshaw and Lucy Wilson; grandchildren, Ryan Shelton, Lindsay and Victoria Jones, all preceded him in death.
Paul was a loving and devoted husband and father who was always humble and kind with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed his antique business which included restoration of chandeliers and refinishing furniture. Other hobbies included working in his yard and camping with his sons. He will be forever remembered by all who loved him.
Paul is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sarah Lee Shelton; children, Paul R. "Bobby" Shelton (Brenda) of Lexington, Michael W. Shelton (Cindy) of Washington, NC, Tammy Brooks (Terry) of Winston-Salem, Teresa Jones (Richy) of Archdale, David Hubbard (Vanessa) of Asheboro; siblings, Wade Shelton of Liberty, Jimmy Shelton (Sue) of Liberty, Lee Thomas of Greensboro, Steve Shelton (Brenda) of Cary; grandchildren, Rachel Lewis (Bill), Jill West (Brent), Brittany White (Chip), Mitchell Sanders (Mindy), Charlie Sanders, Bradley Sanders (Alicia), Megan Alford (Brandon), Tripp Jones (Heather), Samantha Milliken (Holdyn); great -grandchildren, Harper and Chase Lewis, Aubree, Karma and Madox White, Jacob Sanders, Aiden and Wyatt Alford, Calleigh and Travis Jones; sister-in-law, Linda Collins (Larry) and nephew, Jimmy Collins.
The family will greet friends from 2:00 until 2:45 on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Cumby Family Funeral Service at 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point. Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Reverend Roger Carmichael, officiating. Burial will be on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro.
