Paul "Eddie" Sweany, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on December 20, 1941, in Austin, Indiana, he was the beloved son of the late Paul J. Sweany and Alberta (Wheeler) Sweany. Eddie's life was a testament to his strong work ethic and his unwavering commitment to his family and faith.

Eddie's legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his sons, Tony Sweany of Austin, Indiana, and Terry (Patty) Sweany of Los Angeles, California; his stepson, Wesley Rose of Clarksville, Indiana; and stepdaughter, Holly Colwell of Austin, Indiana. He was a proud grandfather to Amie Sweany and great-grandfather to Adriana Alvarado.
Preceding him in death were his brothers, Bobby and Joe Sweany; his sister, Nancy Rensehler; his first wife and mother of his children, Wanda Faye Sweany; and his second wife, Wanda Rose.
