Paul Braud Traylor, at the age of 68, passed away on March 3, 2026. He loved spending time outdoors and helping others. Paul was incredibly well-known for his hard work ethic that he learned from his parents, and his great work as a cement finisher. He was very proud of the work he accomplished and doing a great job. Above everything his family meant the world to him. Paul looked forward to family reunions, Christmas time, and getting together with friends and family for crab and crawfish boils. Being a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend was the greatest blessing to him. Paul leaves behind his love and wonderful memories in the hearts of everyone that loves him.
Paul is survived by daughter, Paula Traylor Koonce (David); son, Christopher Traylor (Lynn); step-son, Troy Serignet (Olivia); sisters, Jeanette Traylor West and Sharon Traylor Posey; brothers, Navarre Traylor, Johnny Traylor, and Jack Traylor (Cheryl); grandchildren, Sarah Traylor, Malakai Koonce, Caleb Serignet, Tricia Traylor, and Christopher Destin Traylor; and great-grandchildren, Caden and River; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded by his parents, Christopher Lee Traylor and Margie Lee Whatley Traylor; siblings, Glynn Traylor, Ruby Jean Traylor Vining, Aaron Traylor, Jimmy Traylor, Doris Traylor Payne, Gene Traylor, Leonard Traylor, Lee Roy Traylor, and Ray Traylor.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Hammond on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Twin Pines Cemetery.
