Paul Lawrence Waldron, 79, of Hinton passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.
Born October 4, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH he was a son of the late Clifford Mack and Myrtle Agnes Cordell Waldron.
Paul was a United States Army Veteran who had served in Vietnam. He was a fire boss in the coal mines who enjoyed family, watching movies, his dogs and spending time with his granddaughter. Paul had a good heart and an abundance of love for animals.
He is preceded in death by one son, Rich Smith and one grandson, Ezekiel Bingman.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Travis Glenn Waldron and wife Therese; one daughter, Audrey Palminteri and husband Robert; one granddaughter, Daphne Guinevere Waldron; one brother, Herb Waldron and wife Kathleen and his former wife, Barbara Aguilar.
Per Paul’s request his body will be cremated and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
