Lucas Funeral Home - HurstPaul E. Wozniewski has gone to be with our Lord after a long battle with dementia. He is survived by his sister Joyce; his beloved wife Penny (Della Marie Altiere); his children John (former spouse Tiffany) and Carol (Matt); grandchildren Gary (Mallory), Katlyn (Kyle), Keeley, Luca, Olivia, and Lucy; great-grandchildren Isis Quinn, Oliver, Grayson, Vincent, and Nieve Marie; and nieces Nina (Gary), Michelle, and Jill (Tom). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joanna and Edward; his sister Barbara; and his niece Kimberly.
Paul had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. He sought to explore the world he once only dreamed about as a child, always choosing new destinations—except for Snowmass, Colorado, a cherished exception where he built a lifetime of memories with his wife and children. A craftsman at heart, Paul had a passion for design, machinery, and cars. He was able to share his passion professionally through his work in custom cabinetry and millwork. His eye for detail and commitment to quality helped bring to life some of the most beautiful homes and commercial spaces, many of which continue to be enjoyed to this day. Paul was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He loved skiing, playing tennis, and reading—interests he passed down to his children and grandchildren. His hard work provided for his family, and his values—dedication, professionalism, and integrity—live on through all those he touched and inspired.
Services for Paul will be held in both Texas and Chicago.
