WADESBORO - On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Mr. Paul Edward Wright, 78, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and son at his bedside.

The family welcomes visitors at the home, 1228 Coppedge Eddins Road in Wadesboro from Thursday through Sunday at any time.

Paul was born May 25, 1947 and grew up in Waynesville, NC. He was the son of the late Newell Emery Wright and the late Carrie Lee Hutchens Wright. He served in the military for 4 years and worked as a long distance truck driver for 27 years.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Brenda Fulk Wright; his son, Justin Cassidy; and his dear friends who were more like brother, Joe Wood of Wingate and Mike Starnes and George Edwards both of Burnsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, William "Billy" Griffin and Michael Cassidy and his sisters and brothers, Pauline, John Henry, Everette, Neal, Francis, Virgie, Edith and Vernon.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Liberty Home Care and Hospice for all they did for Paul while he was in their care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 119 W. Wade St., Wadesboro, NC 28170.
