Paul Douglas Young

Paul D Young age 67 of Neptune Township, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born in Newark NJ, and resided in East Brunswick before moving to the shore area 47 years ago. He was a graduate of East Brunswick High School and attended Brookdale Community College. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist, meat cutter and his hobby as an independent investor. Paul and his wife Roselyn were married young and worked side by side to achieve their dream of owning their home. Their life together was focused on their families, having many gatherings there. They cherished their life together and their home life. They enjoyed many travel adventures but there was no place like home.
Paul was an avid gardener, loved camping, and also was an excellent babysitter for his grandchildren (with occasional mishaps!). He had strong faith in God and was a parishioner of Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Neptune, where he had served as an RCIA team member. He was kind and generous, and honest to a fault. We loved him so much, and will miss him terribly.
Paul is predeceased by his parents Hugh D. and Lorraine Young, sister Mary, father in-law Ronald and brother in-law Ronald Jr. Surviving are his wife Roselyn, children Loretta and Paul Jr., and grandchildren Gavin, Justin, Taryn, Dylan, Aiden, Colin, and Liam, one great grandchild Arin and one on the way. Paul is survived by his two brothers, Andrew and his wife Sharon, Douglas and his partner Anna, Uncle Robert Allan Young and his wife Sarah. He is survived by mother in-law Emily, brother in-law John and his wife Tracey, sisters-in-law Alexandra, Jean and her husband Michael, and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
