Paula Bittinger Obituary
Born September 14, 1965 in Cumberland, MD, Miss. Bittinger was the daughter of Kenneth Leroy Bittinger and Sandra Kay (Sweitzer) Bittinger. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alvie and Sarah Sweitzer; and Lloyd and Lola Bittinger; as well as a nephew: Charles Edward Whetstone, III; and a brother-in-law: Thomas Femi.
Paula volunteered at First Assembly of God, Lonaconing, MD assisting with S.H.I.P and the free food program. She loved to read and play games on her tablet. She was a big part of her nieces and nephews lives being able to care for them and watch them grow up.
Besides her parents, Paula is survived by her uncle: John Sweitzer; her sisters: Lisa Whetstone and husband Charles Whetstone; Jennifer Femi and Stephanie Spataro; and Tracy Winebrenner and husband Michael; her nieces and nephews: Candaise, Cara, Alicia, Stephen, J.T., Devin, Katelynn, and Abigail; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff on 5th floor at UPMC-Western Maryland for making her comfortable in her final days.
