Retired Treasurer/Collector, Town of Westford
WESTFORD - Paula Brule, 77, of Westford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia.
Born and raised in Westford, Paula remained a lifelong resident of the town she loved and served. She dedicated 20 years of her career as the Treasurer/Collector for the Town of Westford, retiring at the age of 46. Paula was known for her dedication, professionalism, and steady presence in her work, earning the respect of colleagues and community members alike.
After retirement, she found great joy spending time at her beach house in York Beach, Maine. The ocean was her sanctuary, and she cherished the quiet moments and family gatherings there.
Paula is survived by her beloved niece, Kelly A. Boisvert, and Kelly’s husband, Andre Boisvert; her nephew, Kevin Boyd and his wife Betsy Boyd, and her great nephews Isaac Boyd and Jaxon Boyd. She was predeceased by her parents, Gisele and Leo Brule, and her sister, Lana (Brule) Boyd.
She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her years of service to her hometown, and her deep love of the sea.
Relatives and friends are invited to Paula’s Memorial Visitation on Friday, July 25, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 N. Main Street, Westford. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main Street, Westford. Burial in St. Catherine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: American Cancer Society at cancer.org
