Paula A. Gilligan

LATHAM Paula A. Gilligan, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center.
Born in Troy and raised in Cohoes, Paula was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy Robinson Mack. She lived in Cohoes for most of her life and was a graduate of Cohoes High School. She worked for GTech in Schenectady for many years until her retirement and prior to that she had been employed at Factron in Latham.
Paula was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham and volunteered at the food pantry there. She also was a former member of the Saratoga County Women's Club.
Paula's love of family always played an important role in her life, and she was very devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Michele Throgmorton of Myrtle Beach, SC and Timothy Gilligan and his wife Kim of Latham; the adoring grandmother of Tyler Throgmorton and Shannon and Timothy Gilligan; and the sister of Robert Mack.
At Paula's request, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
