Paula E. Harner

Paula Harner Druck, 74, Converse, passed away at 12:26 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, on Thursday, February 20, 1947, to Fred and Louise (Jupp) Grindle. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Bryan Druck.
Paula graduated from Mississinewa High School and was owner/operator of 9th St. Cafe in Marion for 19 years. She had previously owned I-69 Marathon station for 15 years. She will be remembered as a hard-working woman and "a darn good cook". Everything she did was done BIG. She put her heart and soul in all she did.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Kelli L Johnson of Winchester, KY; grandchildren, Wesley, Tanner, Sidney, Seth (Kelsey), Sara, and Sam; great-grandchildren, Wiley, Maci, Justin, and Burkli; brothers, Robert (Lin) Grindle of Hartford, CT, and Steven Grindle of Marion; sisters, Anita (Jim) Thorne of Marion and Rebecca Oleysyck of Marion; and sister-in-law, Stacy Grindle of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred (Louise) Grindle; son, Wiley Gordon; sister, Jeanette Williams; and brother, Michael Grindle.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Paula's life will begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tom Mansbarger will be officiating with burial taking place at Grant Memorial Park.
