Paula K. Minton, age 70 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus.
Paula was born on December 21, 1955, in New Albany, the daughter of George Bobo and Dorothy Nelson Bobo.
Paula is survived by her sons: Patrick Chastain (Robin) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Joseph Chastain (Nicole) of Milwaukee WI, Cameron Gibson (Autumn) of Salem and Ryan Minton of Salem, her daughter: Holly Hedrick (Bobby) of Salem, her brothers: William Bobo of Pekin, Daniel Bobo of Colorado, Kevin Bobo of Missouri, and David Mann of California. Her sisters: Linda Juniel of Charlestown, Lori Leep of Little York, and Marie Derosia of Pekin. Ms. Minton is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: James Bobo, Bobby Bramer, Melvin Bramer, and Cecil Bobo. A sister, Lisa Powell. And one granddaughter, Alyssa Chastain.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 5, at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Thursday, from 12:00PM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.
