Paula Marie Numerich
Age 76 of Flushing, MI went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel on Tuesday, June 28th from 2:00 to 7:00pm with a Vigil service at 7:00pm. Visitation will also take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00am until the service.
Paula was born in Flint, MI on August 5, 1945, the daughter of Herman and Mary (Charron) Ruff. She joined the Convent at age 14 until she was 18. Throughout her life, she volunteered at hospice, helped Becky Hart at the Township Hall, worked at an apple orchard and as a special education Teacher's Aide in Shiawassee County. She retired from Meijer as a door greeter and security guard.
Paula enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and playing cards. She was a quick-witted people-person who was always ready with a clever comeback. She was full of life and loved by many. Paula appreciated love and kindness from everyone. She had a strong faith and deep love for making people laugh (even at her own expense).
Paula is survived by her daughter, Charron (Walter) Brown; grandchildren, Symone Porter (Andy Hunt), Seth Robbins (Melanie Harbaugh), and Savanna Robbins (Ryan Webster); great-grandchildren, Esmay, Emerson, Harlynn, Miley, AJ, Tyler, and Trevor; her siblings, Peggy (Frank) Polosick and John Ruff; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved and cared for.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Sue (Ross) Trnka, Kathleen Ruff, Trudy Ruff, and Ricky Ruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the wishes of the family.
