Paula M. O'Neil (Fuller), beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Tequesta, Florida, on June 14, 2025, at the age of 78. She was surrounded by her loving family after a sudden cancer diagnosis just four weeks earlier. Despite the rapid progression of her illness, Paula faced her final days with grace, strength, and the same unwavering spirit that defined her life.
Born on September 9, 1946, in East Providence, Rhode Island, Paula was one of three children of Paul Fuller and Nina Pizar. From a young age, she demonstrated a graceful determination, paired with a deep devotion to those she loved. A graduate of Dartmouth High School, she went on to carve out a successful career in real estate, where she became known not just for her knowledge and skills, but for the warmth, kindness, and personal touch she brought to every client and interaction.
Paula's life was shaped by meaningful relationships, each one marked by love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was first married to Fred Boden, with whom she shared ten wonderful years and had two children, Brittney Boden and Michael Boden. Later, she found her lifelong partner in Kevin O'Neil. Their 40 years of marriage were filled with love, adventure, and shared memories between their homes in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Tequesta, Florida. In addition to their beautiful life together, Paula embraced two stepchildren as part of her family. Kevin passed away in March 2025, also after a battle with cancer.
An accomplished model and gifted entrepreneur, Paula was the proud owner of O'Neil Real Estate in Hyannis, Massachusetts and a top broker at Cotton Real Estate in Osterville, Massachusetts. She built lasting friendships through her work, and was loved by all who knew her. Her clients, friends, and colleagues appreciated her not just for her real estate expertise, but for the genuine care and loyalty she offered every person she met.
Beyond her career, Paula was a woman of great creativity and flair. She had an eye for fashion, a love for art, and a zest for life that she expressed through her impeccable style and infectious sense of humor. Whether it was dressing up for an event or adding a personal touch to everything she did, she made life feel like a celebration. Her home was always filled with music, laughter, and beautiful gatherings, where she took immense joy in entertaining family and friends. Her witty remarks, sparkling personality, and playful spirit made every moment with her unforgettable.
At her core, Paula's greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Brittney and Michael, and a proud grandmother to her eight grandchildren. Her family was the anchor of her life, and she poured her heart into every relationship. Paula found immense joy in dancing, poetry, word games, and the deep connection she shared with her close-knit group of friends and the beloved "Turtle Sisters" in Tequesta, FL
