Paula Silva

Paula M. (Andrews) Silva, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island in Coventry. She was the wife of the late William A. "Doc" Silva. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Josephine (Petrucci) Andrews. Paula was the beloved mother of Krina M. Silva and sister of Bill Andrews, Lenny Andrews and the late George Andrews. Paula worked as a bookkeeper and also as a waitress in her family's restaurant, Nikki's Grille, for many years.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the nurses and CNAs at Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of RI and Hospice, with special thanks to Casey, Alondra, Oina, Beauty, Jazmin, Anne, Autumn, Prince; as well as the hospice staff including Sara, Eric, Natalie, Olivia, Kathy, and Jen, among many more throughout the years. Without their hard work, dedication, and love for my mother, she would not have been with us as long as she was. They are angels among us, whom we are eternally grateful for, for their compassion and commitment.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 10th at 10am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
