Pauline Elizabeth Pelham Adams, 82, of Columbus, GA entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Adams was born in Columbus, Ga, November 16, 1942, to the late Willard and Mary Pelham. She grew up in Darien, Ga, graduated from Darien High School and the Memorial Hospital of Chatham County Nursing School. She became a dedicated and compassionate RN and RN Supervisor and spent many years providing the utmost care and compassion for her residents. She spent her time working at the Medical Center, Martin Army Hospital, Walton Army Hospital, Phenix City Nursing Home and Muscogee Manor Nursing Home. She found her calling working with the elderly and treated each resident as her own family.
During her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, attending exercise classes and playing BINGO.
Ms. Adams is survived by her children, Lynne Battle (John), Greg Adams (Vickie), Anita Adams (Angie); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Wynn Pelham, and Tony Pelham, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Orchard View Nursing Home, 8414 Whitesville Road, Columbus, Ga on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the activity department at Orchard View Nursing Home in her memory.
