Pauline Marie (Richard) Conlin, 90, of Methuen, MA, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Lawrence General Hospital with her loving family at her bedside. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Roy Conlin, to whom she was married for sixty-two years, and the daughter of the late Howard and Lydia (Arsenault) Richard.

In addition to raising a large family, Pauline helped her husband Dick manage the family business, Conlin's Pharmacy, in Methuen. She enjoyed spending summers at her beach house in Salisbury and later Seabrook NH. The 4th of July was one of her favorite holidays, where she celebrated at the beach with her family and for many years hosted a neighborhood "parade" for her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and could serve a feast for a crowd without batting an eye. After their retirement, she and Dick enjoyed spending winters at their condo in Estero, Florida, where Pauline would often be found at the pool chatting with friends.

She loved to quilt and would make special quilts for her children and grandchildren to mark the special moments in their lives. Most recently she enjoyed playing Bingo and corn hole with her friends at The Woods at Merrimack Retirement Community. Pauline was thoughtful of others and always made friends easily. She had a smile that put everyone at ease.

Pauline's greatest joy was spending time with her family. Nothing meant more to her than enjoying holidays and other family events together. A visit to "Nana's house" was always special for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her warm embraces seemed to last forever. Only a few months ago, she was surrounded by the love of her extended family for the celebration of her 90th birthday.

Pauline is survived by her five children: Stephen Conlin and his wife, Anne Donohue of Dennis, MA; Paul Conlin of Wilmington, MA; Kathleen Conlin and her husband, Dean Bouffard of Greenland, NH; Dennis Conlin and his wife, Tina of Andover, MA, and Maureen Conlin Stankus and her husband, Stephen Stankus of Methuen, MA; and eleven grandchildren: Elizabeth, William (Rory), Jeremy, Brittany, Christopher, Andrew, Timothy, Matthew, Katherine, Emily and William (Liam); great-grandchildren, Reese, Chase, and Harry; as well as many nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her siblings: Dorothy Gilgun, Leonard Richard, Earl Richard, and Robert Richard.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Pauline's family. I am grateful to have spent winters in Oakwood with Pauline. We enjoyed many hours together chatting at the pool and our weekly potluck dinners. I feel lucky to have been her friend. Pauline was a very special person, and I miss her.
