Like many, Pauline was first my son´s piano teacher, then she became mine. She was a brilliant teacher and became a dear friend.
I valued her knowledge and experience. I valued her patience, her focus on the student during the lesson. I valued her ability to know when to stretch her student, and when to make adjustment in a piece for the student´s sake. I valued her tact and honesty. I valued her not being afraid to speak up. I valued her `I can do this´ attitude. I valued her friendship.
Pauline was blessed and honored by her loving, supporting family.
I will miss her.

Pauline was a saint walking among us. Her dedication to God, her family, and her students through thick and thin was a testament to her boundless love and strength. Her faith and kindness influenced me deeply. Goodbye, Pauline, until we can sing together again.

Pauline gave me the gift of music. She taught me for over 50 years on and off and I grew to love her as a second mother. She was the most generous, loving woman I have known. She will be missed. My love and condolences to her family and many friends.
