Ms. Magnon, 95, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from Civil Service where she was a Registered Nurse. She was a strong and opinionated woman. She enjoyed gardening, dogs, and birds. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Magnon; her father, Edward Hubbard; and her mother, Irene Weaver; two brothers; and four sisters.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, Hank Magnon of Cleveland, Texas, Grant Magnon of Alexandria, and Joe Magnon (Linda) of Crandall, Texas; two daughters, Charlene Loper of Harvest, Alabama, and Cheryl McDaniel (Doug) of Helena, Alabama; four granddaughters, Tanyo Gahn, Kelli Cruz (Eddie), Amber Slagle (David), and Jessie McDaniel; three grandsons, Jacob Magnon, Joshua Magnon, and John Loper; two great-grandsons, Tanner Gahn and Gentry Cruz; and one great-granddaughter, Janis Emma Louise Cruz.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

I always loved and cared for Aunt Paula. She was a loving woman. I had the same feeling in my dream on Sunday night as when Uncle Henry passed away. May she rest in peace. Love all of you!
