Pauline Sharp, age 104, widow of Everett Lee Scott, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Nicholasville Health and Rehab. She was born in Boyle County, Kentucky, on July 11, 1921, to the late Samuel William Cox and Dora Myrtle Cox. Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. Survivors include a son, Willard Lee Scott, two daughters, Peggy Ann Hammond and Tammy Jo Gilbert. In addition to her children, she is survived by eleven grandchildren, Willard Lee (Kellie) Scott, Jr., Debbie (Kerry) Aldridge, Spencer Hammond, Marla (Gary) Mayle, Ronnie (Celia) Hammond, Joe (Lauren) Hammond, Gina (John) Branscum, Shellie (Greg) Frye, Stuart (Erin) Bruner, Samuel H. (Erica Lynn Cook) Gilbert, Stephen S. (Katheryn A. Heinrich) Gilbert, sixteen great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Bruner, and ten siblings. Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Willard Scott, Jr., Samuel Gilbert, Stephen Gilbert, Ronnie Hammond, Jr., Joe Hammond, Spencer Hammond, and Stuart Bruner. The visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Pauline and her family in their time of need.
