Pauline Tipton, a beloved member of her community, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025, in Altha, Florida, at the age of 61. Born on December 22, 1963, in Marianna, Florida.
Throughout her early career, Pauline worked diligently for glad farms, where she was responsible for grading flowers. Her dedication and work ethic later led her to serve as a manager at Dollar General stores, a role she held most recently. Those who knew her described her as someone who was always willing to help people.
Pauline is survived by her son, Rodney Caruthers; her brother, Leon Tipton; her sister, Susan Powell; and her cherished grandchildren, Aleena, Ava, Jaxson, and Damon as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Tipton and Helen Johnson, as well as her sisters, Darlene Tipton and Christine Adkins. Pauline will be remembered not only for her kindness but also for the deep love she had for her family.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on June 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
