Peggy Ann Balthaser, 88, of Bernville, passed away, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born on October 1, 1936, she was a daughter to the late Adam and Mamie (Binner) Lando. She was the loving wife of the late Donald E. Balthaser with whom she shared 67 years of marriage at his time of passing on November 12, 2023. 

Peggy was a past member of Frieden's Lutheran Church in Bernville. in her free time, Peggy enjoyed swimming daily at BodyZone and working on word searches and puzzles, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play soccer. 

Peggy is survived by her son, Thomas D. Balthaser, husband of Brenda. Also surviving are grandchildren Eric T. Balthaser, husband of Adrienne, and Joshua A. Balthaser, husband of Christine; great-grandchildren Alexander and Jordan; and siblings Arlan Lando, husband of Sharon, Dolores Huntzinger, Bonnie Rentschler, wife of Larry, and Beverly Shollenberger, wife of Steve. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was predeceased by her brothers, Adam Lando, Jr., and William Lando. 

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main Street, Bernville.
