MANCHESTER, TENNESSEE – Mrs. Peggy Ann Milstead Begnaud, age 94, passed away peacefully in the Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Manchester on March 6, 2025. She was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on January 22, 1931, to the late Frances Short Milstead Garrison and the late J. C. Milstead. Peggy graduated from Manchester High School in 1949. She worked many years in the family business, Jersi Gold. She was also owner of Queen's Court dress shop before moving to Simmesport, Louisiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Begnaud of Simmesport, Louisiana. She is survived by her children, Steve (Margaret) Cunningham, Suzanne (Terry) Turner, Butch (Lucy) Begnaud, six grandchildren & eleven great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00am at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Brother Danny Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
