Peggy Ann Christopher

Mrs. Peggy Ann Christopher passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at her home in McNeil, Arkansas, under the care of Enhabit Hospice. She was 63. Peggy was born on March 9, 1962, to Jessie Burnell and Roosevelt Leaks. Peggy attended the McNeil Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Otis Christopher on February 6, 1982. She was a faithful and dedicated member of St. Matthew Baptist Church.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother Jessie Burnell, her father Roosevelt Leaks, a son Ray Allen Christopher, and siblings: Jessie Lee Burnell, Pauline Harper, Patricia Ann Burnell, Charles Burnell, Pearlina Flowers, Oscar Burnell, Danny Burnell, Dorothy Burnell, Peter Burnell, Huery Burnell, Bessie Ann Arnold, Jimmy Leaks, Rosemary Webb, Ray Leaks and Robert Leaks.
She leaves treasured memories with her husband Otis Christopher, her son, Otis Ray Christopher (Desheka), her grandchildren: La'Qualion "LJ" Christopher, Tiara Christopher, Rayli Christopher, and Hunter Gass, six brothers: Hubert Leaks, Paul Burnell of McNeil, Darryl Burnell of Waldo, Michael Leaks (Maggie), Terry Leaks, Montray Leaks (Dominique) all of Magnolia; eight sisters: Rose Ann Leaks, Bobbie Leaks, Angie Stevenson, Etta Rankin, all of Magnolia, AR, Diane Leaks of Texas, Linda Beal of Little Rock, AR, Mildred Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio and Verda Burnell of McNeil, sister-in-law, Mary Christopher of McNeil, brothers-in-law: Peter Christopher (Bridget) Herbert Burton of McNeil, AR, Hubert Burton (Sara) of Minnesota, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, including a special niece Joyce Flowers of Prescott, AR.
