Peggy Gresham Obituary
Peggy Joyce Williams Gresham, born October 15, 1931, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with family Cindy Helms and her caregivers, Linda and Colleena.
A graveside service of remembrance was conducted February 20, 2026, by Vance Brooks Funeral home with Pastor Marvin Minton officiating, followed by Interment at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Gresham was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Williams and Ruby Williams Cook; her husbands, Billy Monroe Allmond, Sr. and James Willie “J.W.” Gresham; daughter, Debra Joyce Gresham; brother, Norman K. Cook; sisters, Margaret, Frances and Lois; and nephew Greg “Hammer” Helms.
Survivors include her son, Billy Monroe Allmond, Jr. (Pamela); granddaughter, Carrie; great-grandchildren, Dawson Blaine and Ashlynn Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to her two caregivers, Linda and Colleena and Enhabit Hospice for their love and support.
