Peggy Hallmon Obituary
Peggy Ann Hallmon, 73, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away May 19, 2023. She was born December 2, 1949 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late EV (Shorty) and Dot McCarty.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jessie Hallmon, Jr.; and brother, Tommy McCarty. Peggy is survived by her children, Michael Hallmon and Pamela Hallmon; grandchildren, Jessieca (Drew), Shawna (Zach), Arianna (Mike), Joshua; great-grandchildren, Emorie, Nevaeh, Victor, Amara, Magnus; sister, Vickie Luse; niece, Sabryna; fur-baby, Ladybug; and a host of family and friends.
Peggy was caretaker at heart. She loved giving to others and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime and faithful member of Victory Baptist Church and spent many hours volunteering with different programs throughout the church. Her family is going to miss her made from scratch meals especially her goulash and bread pudding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy’s name to Victory Missionary Baptist Church (victory1st.com).
Visitation will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street). A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Victory Missionary Baptist Church (10000 Brockington Road).
