Peggy Sue Horner, 57, St. Marys, WV, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in Parkersburg, WV, on June 24, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Augusta and Barbara Reed Campbell. She worker for Carehaven for 11 years. Peggy was a 26-year Cancer survivor. She was strong-willed worker, never calling of work. She loved her family and her dog and cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Cornell (Michael Cronin), and Alexandria Rovinsky (Oscar); six grandchildren, Hunter Mace, Isabella Cronin, and Myles, Hudson, Colby, and Zayden Rovinsky; two sisters, Melody Campbell, and Tammy Cuffle; her dog, Susie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Arnold Ray Cornell, her mother and father-in-law, Ray Shirley Cornell, and a sister, Lisa Campbell.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, with Bob Long officiating. Interment will be in the Willow Island Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 to 2 P. M. Thursday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
