Peggy Le Anne was born on October 13, 1956, to parents Clair and Norma (Swigert) Rubel in Spencer, IA. She grew up around Rush Lake in the Laurens area where she attended and graduated from Laurens High School.
On October 23, 1974, she married Lonnie Goodchild. This union was blessed with two children: Darin Goodchild (son) and Le Anne Womack (daughter). They raised their family in Oregon where Peggy enjoyed gardening and listening to country music. Peggy was known for having a huge heart and dedicated her life to helping people, both professionally and personally.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Darin Goodchild of Spencer, IA; Le Anne Womack of Sugar Land, TX; grandchildren: Corbyn and Kenzie Womack; siblings: Gene (Connie) Rubel of Webb, Clair Rubel Jr. (Penny) of Curlew and Joni Rubel of Spencer, IA.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents: Clair and Norma Rubel; and brothers: Danny and Dennis Rubel.
