PEGGY LEE, 72, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 Peggy was born on September 16th,1952 to the late Kenis and Ruby (Gambil) Young in West Liberty, KY. She married Henderson Lee Sr. on March 14, 1970, and he preceded her in death on June 4,2012.
Surviving are her two children, Henderson Lee, Jr (Bradford, Ohio) and Joseph Allen Lee (Bradford, Ohio); four brothers Robert Young (Bradford, Ohio) Ricky Young (Piqua, Ohio) Simon (Scheally) Young (Celina, Ohio) and Danny Young (Troy, Ohio); two sisters Florence Powell (Piqua, Ohio) and Susie Leonard (Piqua, Ohio); Six grandchildren Jacob James (Chelsie) Lee, Shania Nicole (Nick) Welch, Natasha Lynn Lee (Travis Keechle) Zachary Austin Lee, Caleb Huber and Kenny Mincer; Five Great Grandchildren, Kayden Lee, Carter Sandy, Tommy Sandy, Jaxson Lee and Spencer Lee. She was preceded in death by one son, James Adam Lee and one sister, Omie Jenkins.
Peggy was a Nurses Aid for Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home for 17 years, she then worked at Koester Pavillion for twenty years in Troy, Ohio, prior to retiring. She greatly enjoyed cooking meals for her family, going camping, horseback riding and crocheting while watching something fun on the T.V.
Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday February 26th at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with Pastor Simon Young officiating. Burial to immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, OH. The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1PM on Wednesday February 26th, at the funeral home.
