Peggy Ann (Miller) Lowe, 81, of Kennard went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born January 26, 1944, in Gates, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Marcus Miller, Jr. and Beulah (Hall) Miller Kaiser. Peggy graduated from Straughn High School in 1962, where she enjoyed cheerleading and choir. Peggy married Stanley Lowe, the love of her life, in August of 1984. They were inseparable for 29 years, until Stanley's passing in 2013. She was a born again Christian and was a member of the Milton Kentucky Baptist church. Peggy enjoyed sewing, cooking, country music concerts and reading. She also enjoyed spending winters in Florida and living on the Ohio River. Peggy cherished her family.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter Jill (Jerry) Linder of Shirley, son Victor Roy (Goldie) Claar of New Castle, step-daughters Tracie (Chester) Chaney of New Castle and Julie (Barry) Manning of Knightstown, steps-sons Jack Lowe of New Castle and Roger (Dee) Lowe of Girardeau, Missouri. Peggy and Stanley had a combination of 19 grandchildren; one of which they raised: Claar (Jacob) Lindon and 31 great-grandchildren and she cherished each one. She is also survived by sisters Brenda (Phil) Ford of Hagerstown and Helen Miller of New Castle as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Lowe, daughter Deanna Lowe, granddaughter Elizabeth Linder, her parents, listed above, step-son Jeff Lowe, step-granddaughter Ashley Lowe and step-grandson Jacob Lowe as well as three brothers Danny Miller, Kenneth Miller and Bill Kaiser.

A funeral to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad Street New Castle, IN 47362 with Peggy's daughter Jill Linder officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the funeral at Green Hills Memory Gardens, New Castle.
