Peggy, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and G.G., passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the age of 82. She was surrounded by her family during her final moments. Peggy was born to Al and Margaret (McCoy) Brown on January 6, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI.
Peggy met her beloved husband John J. Pochert Jr. when she was 14 years old. They later married on June 23, 1962, in Boston. They were happily married for 63 years. Peggy devoted her life to her husband and children and always providing them with a loving home. Peggy also enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and visiting the casino. In the end her brightest days were spent with visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her husband John, her daughters Cathy Pochert, Shelly (Jim) Skenandore and Becky (Nick) Caradonna. Her grandchildren Danielle (Brett) Foster, Jeremy (Amanda) Braun, Andy (Aimee) Braun, Michael Skenandore, Amber (Branden) Kaehler, Sophia, John and Bill Webber. Great grandchildren Nola, Ayner, Lincoln, Bently, Breavynn, Brycen, Jeremiah, and Melody. She is further survived by her sister Alice Baines and her brother Jim (Donna) Brown, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Margaret Brown, and her sisters Mary Ellen Bornschlagl and Virginia Fraenzl.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025, at Alioto's Italian Restaurant, 3041 N. Mayfair Road Wauwatosa, WI, 53222, with visiting from 5:00pm until the reading of the Eulogy at 6:00pm.
