RIZER, 83
WINTER HAVEN - Peggy Sue Rizer, 83, of Winter Haven, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.
Born November 20, 1936 in Franklin, Missouri she moved to Winter Haven in 1957. She was a member of Peoples Church/ Calvary Assembly in Winter Haven and she retired after working 22 years at Polk State College.
Peggy is survived by, her husband of 38 years, Danny; two sons, Kenneth Overstreet, Jr. and his wife Del of Auburndale and Tracy Overstreet and his wife Terri of Winter Haven; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Lakeside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in her name to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com .

A dear friend Peggy who always welcomed me to her and Danny's home to service their ac unit had such a love of Jesus. To live as she did certainly loaded her crown of jewels in Heaven. Oh man, did she boast about her love for her husband and all her family. Never did a time go by that I did not hear about her meeting her Favorite football and Christian motivational speaker Tim Tebo. I am to this day, 4/22/2025 still blessed to have known her and yes, we talked each other's ear off. I will be eternally greatful for the gift of her messages about Christ to me. God is listening and still waiting for lost souls. Come to know Him today all who read this. Amen.

We were saddened to learn of Peggy's passing.
She always had a smile for everyone she met.
Her love for her Lord and her family were so important to her.
She will be missed.
Our prayers are with you, Dan, Kenny and Del, Tracy and Terri, and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
