Peggy Taitague

Peggy Taitague, beloved wife of Felix Taitague, passed away on July 4, 2024 at the age of 69. She was born on October 5, 1954 to Eva and Ramon Ruiz, and was the loving mother of Monique, Kimberly, and Christopher Taitague. Peggy adored her grandchildren Declan Atkinson, Caleb Atkinson, and Renzo Edmonds, finding immense joy in their presence and taking an active role as an additional caregiver and "Mimi".
Peggy's life was characterized by her deep passion for nurturing young minds, whether as a homemaker to her own children or working at many schools across the Bay Area. Her career in the school system spanned various roles including counselor, yard duty supervisor, and in food services, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues alike. Her dedication to her work was surpassed only by her unwavering kindness and ability to make everyone feel valued and heard.
Peggy cherished simple pleasures such as caring for her dogs Ryder and Wyatt and the tranquility of Hawaii, which held a special place in her heart. Her warmth and infectious smile lit up any room, and she effortlessly forged lasting friendships wherever she went. Peggy's spirit was a beacon of light to her family, friends, and community.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Felix, children Monique, Kimberly, and Christopher, grandchildren Declan, Caleb, and Renzo, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Forever in our hearts, Peggy's legacy of love and compassion lives on through those she touched.
Family and friends are invited to the services in honor of Peggy on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Vigil Service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
