Mrs. Peggy Jean Twing of Burleson, TX formerly of Clarksville, TN passed away on November 10, 2023 in Fort Worth, TX at the age of 81 with her loving family by her side.
Peggy was born in Clarksville, TN on December 23, 1941 to the late Roy and Mary Meek.
Peggy was a homemaker and loved raising her two beautiful children Rickie and Kandie. She was a Christian and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church of Burleson, TX. She enjoyed going to Church and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was married to her loving husband Donnie Twing for 62 years and loved living life with him. Peggy was loved by her family very much and she will forever be missed. Her long lifetime friends Bobby and Mary Alice Huggins were like family to her. She and Mary Alice would talk on the phone several times a day. They were like sisters.
Peggy is preceded in death by her loving parents Roy and Mary Meek. Peggy is survived by her loving husband Donnie Twing. Her son Rickie and (Sheri) Twing of Haslet TX. Her daughter Kandie and (Thomas) Carr of Burleson TX. Her granddaughters Shannon and (Caleb) Miller of Grandview TX. Ashley and (Travis) Hilliard of Haslet TX, and her 4 adorable great-grandsons Stetson and Weston Miller. Audio and Onyx Hilliard. They were the love of her life.
Peggys funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023. Her viewing is at 10:00 AM with the service to follow at Lucas & Blessings Funeral Home in Burleson TX. Pallbearers will be Thomas Carr, Caleb Miller, Rickie Twing, and Travis Hilliard.
Peggy will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, TX.
