Michael Earl Ward, lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away unexpectantly from natural causes on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at his home at the age of 68 years.

Mike was born November 12, 1956, in Fort Worth to Nathan and Bonnie Ward. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1975 and Tarrant County Junior College in 1977 in Fort Worth.

He was by profession a computer specialist and worked at The Western Company and Equitable Insurance. He retired in 1995.

He enjoyed playing games online. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing racquetball and canoeing.

Mike is survived by his sister, Dianne Johnson and her husband, Pete Johnson, as well as his niece and nephew, Adrianne and Nathan Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Bonnie Ward.
