1958 - 2024

Stephen Kelly Ford (Steve), 65, a Commercial Broker, died from Cancer Sep. 14, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Celebration of Life: 2:00-5:00 Sunday, March 23rd at the Parker County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo Arena and Event Center, 2251 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, Texas.

Stephen Ford was born Nov. 25, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Barbara Thomas Ford and Orval Burton (OB) Ford. Steve was a graduate of Southwest High School (Class of 77) where he joined the Rodeo team and would continue to Rodeo for several years. Steve attended Texas Tech University where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the University of Wyoming where he earned a BS in Geology.

Steve worked at General Dynamics for over 10 years and ended his career there as a Global Logistics Manager serving in Israel, S Korea and Taiwan. He moved to Oregon and started a career in Commercial Real Estate. This is where he met his life partner Karen and they brought their pride and joy into the world, Parker Ford. Steve was very involved in the Hood River community and enjoyed his passions Elk hunting, fly fishing, mountain biking and numerous other outdoor adventure sports.

Steve is survived by his loving son, Parker; his ex-wife and partner, Karen; his younger brother, Roger; his nieces and nephews, Raegan, Romy, Ryan, Johnny, Jessica and Jake. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Barbara and OB Ford and his brother Larry Ford.
