Peggy Sue Wesberry

Peggy Sue Wesberry, 78, of Royse City, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 29, 2026. Born to HL (Pete) and Inez (Coleman) Wesberry in Greenville, Texas, on April 8, 1947, Peggy was a lifelong member of the First Baptist/Fellowship Church of Royse City. She graduated from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M at Commerce) in 1969 with a Masters in Education and taught fourth and second grades in the Mesquite ISD for thirty years. Peggy was a founding member of the RCISD Education Foundation Scholarship Program and was a past board member of the Royse City Museum.

Her family and friends will greatly miss her sweet smile and infectious laugh.

A public time of visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.

A graveside service will follow the same day at 10:00 AM at Rest Haven Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith, also located on site, 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.
