Funeral Services for Peggy Allen Winchester are Friday, November 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mrs. Winchester, 80 years old, died at her residence on Monday, November 20, 2023. She is a member of Long Heights Baptist Church and retired from HIS Trezevant. She was born in McKenzie on March 20, 1943 to Connie and Onie Pickler Allen.
She is survived by her daughters Cindy (John) Sommers of Jackson, and Teresa (Jamie) Johnson of Gleason, son Ronnie (Blanche) Tegethoff of Brunswick, GA, three grandchildren Victoria Watkins, Brittany Tegethoff and Jacob Johnson and one great-grandson Carson Andrew Nolen.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Tegethoff and Alford Winchester and two brothers Detroy Allen and Charles Allen.
