Pem Shuler

Pem Michele Shuler, born on February 2, 1956, in Galveston, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was 69 years old.
Pem's life was one of deep devotion to her family and enduring love. For 48 years, she shared a steadfast and loving marriage with her husband, Wade. Together they built a home filled with warmth and care, raising three children: daughters Tara (Paul) and Rachel, and son Trey (Amanda). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren-Nolan, Leilah, Zoe, Hannah, Elia, and Grayson-who knew her affectionately as "Geesh," a name lovingly given by her first grandchild.
Family was the heart of Pem's world. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most-nurturing them with quiet strength and unwavering support. Whether gathered around the table or sharing everyday moments, Pem's presence brought comfort and connection to all who knew her.
She was the beloved daughter of Dr. Benjamin Aaron and the late Patricia Aaron. Pem is also remembered fondly by her sisters Lari, Keven, and Dawn and their families. Her bonds with her siblings remained strong throughout her life, rooted in shared memories and mutual care.
Pem's gentle spirit and selfless nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she held dear.
