Perkin Auguillard Sr
July 13, 1927 - March 6, 2025
Lafayette: Funeral services for Perkin Auguillard Sr., who passed away on March 6, 2025, will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. The service will be officiated by Father Arockiam, SVD.
Perkin will be laid to rest at St. Rosa of Lima Cemetery, where he will be remembered and honored by his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his sons, Joseph Perkin Auguillard Jr. (Alma) and Joseph Rogers Auguillard; his grandchildren, Sabine Toliver, Kenric Auguillard (Erica), Leah Williams (MacRoyce), Peggy Simmons(Shane), Arielle Williams(Archer), Aisha Auguillard, and Kourtney Hopkins; two sisters, Edolia Auguillard and Annie Louberta Bonnett; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Perkin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Gilda Roberts Auguillard; his parents, Abel and Rose Auguillard; and his siblings, Percy Auguillard, Nelson Auguillard, Alton Auguillard, Dresdell Auguillard, Elise Auzenne, and Mary Jefferson.
Visitation will take place at Kinchen Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.
Perkin's memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
