Theresa Auguillard Obituary
Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church honoring the life of Theresa Boyd Auguillard, 95, who passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Friday from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. On Saturday, April 5th, we will meet at St. Bernard Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Friday.
Fr. Reed Bellingham will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Beverly Bonhomme and Bhrea Jones Vavasseur. Gift bearers will be Keyli Batiste and Brinly Broussard.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Theresa Boyd Auguillard, affectionately known as "Teeta" was known for her love of cooking and baking. Over the years there were many requests for cakes and other specialty dishes from her for many occasions. She also had a love of flowers and gardening, spending many hours tending to the flower beds in her yard.
She is survived by two daughters, Henrietta Williams (Curtis) and Juanita Batiste; two sons, Ricky Auguillard (Elena) and Joseph Ronnie Auguillard (Juanita); her grandchildren, Ashley Batiste, Thea Batiste, Hayven Auguillard, Tiki Williams, Inyka Williams, Tiniqua Williams, Jovanna Auguillard, Courtney Guillory, Ronnie Emanuel Thomas, Brittney Williams, Shania Doucet, Corey J. Auguillard, Joseph Robert Auguillard, Victor Moreno, Tony Moreno, Erick Moreno, and Gabriella Tovar; a niece she adored, Gayle Jones; God daughter, Patsy Living; niece, Beverly Bonhomme; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mitchell Auguillard; parents, Gilbert and Julia Thibodeaux Boyd; brothers, Simon Boyd, Joseph Boyd and Felton Boyd; sisters, Genevieve Ames, Aline Boyd, Anna Lou Williams and Thelma Anderson; and a great grandson, Kingston Brown.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Auguillard, Joseph Ronnie Auguillard, Hayven Auguillard, Davonta Lewis, Corey Joseph Auguillard, and Ronnie Emmanuel Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Jones, Michel Boyd, Timothy Anderson, Curtis Williams, Terry Boyd, and Daniel Williams
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Revelation Hospice of Houston, Texas.
