Memorial services for Perry Arthur Pecanty, 60 of Monterey, LA will be held at Monterey First Baptist Church on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1PM with Bro. Skip Lavespere and Bro.Tony Ganey officicating. The family will receive friends Saturday at Monterey First Basptist Church, from 11AM until 1PM.

Perry Arthur Pecanty was born on Saturday, September 05, 1964 in Jonesville, LA. and passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in Wildsville, LA. Perry passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and deep love for the great outdoors. He found joy in early mornings on the lake, quiet hunts in the woods, long days on the golf course, and friendly games of cornhole that often stretched into the night. Perry cherished time with family and friends, always the one to bring people together with a cold one in hand and a story to share. His spirit was warm, generous, and full of life-never one to miss a good time or a reason to celebrate. Perry's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him. He lived fully and loved fiercely.

He was preceded in death by father, Norman Ray Pecanty, mother, Sarah Green Pecanty, 2 grandsons, Noah Pecanty and Bishop Pecanty, 2 granddaughters, Arianna Pecanty and Gracelan Pecanty.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Pecanty of Jonesville, LA, daughter, Taylor Pecanty of Jonesville, LA; 2 brothers, Clyde Ray Pecanty and his wife Lisa of Lake Charles, LA and Andre Pecanty and his wife Sonjia of New Era, LA;2 sisters, Ginger Ryall and her husband David of Monterey, LA and Bridget Brown and her husband Wyatt of Monterey, LA. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, Coby Whatley, Ashyton Pecanty and Dakota Taylor and 2 granddaughters, Audrey Pecanty and Kayleigh Bradford; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
