Pete Slatton

James "Pete" Arnold Slatton, 79, of Ringgold passed away at home Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. Pete was born July 23rd, 1946, to the late James W. and Nell Marie Graham Slatton. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area and attended Cloud Springs Baptist Church. Pete graduated from Lakeview High School Class of 1965. He retired from T.V.A in 2010 after 55 years of service, where he finished as a project and operations manager. Pete loved watching his grandson wrestle whenever he could. He enjoyed baseball, working in the yard, collecting, and his German Shepherd.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Lynda Slatton; son, Jimmy Slatton, grandson, James Slatton; brother, Bob Slatton.

Funeral services will be 2 PM on Wednesday November 5th, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cloud Springs Baptist Church.
