Peter John Beck Jr.

Peter John Beck Jr., 66, passed away at his home in Knightdale, NC.

He was born July 25, 1959 in Long Island, NY. Pete graduated From Farmingdale Highschool in NY and then moved to NC.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Peter John Beck Sr., and Joan Anne Beck, nephew, Gary G. Wright Jr. and nephew, Jonathan Arroyo.

He is survived by his five siblings, Patricia Wright Munzing, Marilyn Jean Losee, Karen Anne Cappa, Gary Richard Beck, and Janet Marie Robinson, 10 nieces, nephews, and 24 great nieces and nephews.

Pete was a hard worker. When he first moved to NC he worked as a Bartender and painted houses. He later got a job with Frito Lay, and our family was never short of Doritos, and chips.

He retired from Frito Lay after 20 years and began to work for Peet's coffee for 4 years. He would send every family member coffee.

Pete is remembered for his love of family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with his quick witty responses. He loved ALL Sports, he was a NY Jets Fan, but when they lost, he'd pull for the Giants. Pete's most Favorite enjoyment was Hockey; he was a true Carolina Hurricanes Canes Fan!

He was a season ticket holder for over 20 years. He never missed a game, and he knew most everyone there in his section at the Arena, where he was loved and known as "PETEY"

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 PM at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution could be made to NC American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
