I was so saddened to learn of Pete´s passing. I met him and Noreen in our community pool when I would swim in the morning. Pete was sweet and kind and I loved to hear his stories about his upbringing and family in New York and also about his Coast Guard days and the Lorain Lighthouse. There was a particular story about a treacherous Lake Erie rescue that had me captivated. Noreen would share mouth-watering recipes with me and talk about their church activities. Pete and Noreen made my swims so enjoyable.
My heart goes out to you Noreen. You are a patient, kind and loving wife and caretaker for Pete. God blessed my life for having you both in it.
