Peter Jerry Cieslinski, age 79 of Hartland, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was born January 6, 1945 to Mary J. (nee Ciurro) and Benjamin Cieslinksi and raised by his grandmother, Francis Balistreri. He was united in marriage to Linda S. Lex on September 3, 1966. Peter worked for Allis Chalmers Company in West Allis, WI for many years. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. Peter had a big heart for animals, especially dogs, and was an owner of many that he cherished. Most important was his family, who he loved dearly and always put them first.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda Cieslinski; loving children, Paul (Lynn) of Oconomowoc, Douglas (Cheryl) Cieslinski of Oshkosh, and Wendy (Adam) Cwiklinski of West Bend; cherished grandchildren, Peter (Jamie), Megan, Davis, Carter, Clara, and Hayden and cherished great-grandchildren, Kingston, Aubree, Sutton, Makayla, and Makenna; dear brother, Joseph (Kris) Armendariz; and dear sisters-in-law, Carol Lex, Laurie Trawicki and Debra Muntner (Paul). He is further survived by his dog and little blessing, Jax, among loved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Lorraine R. (nee Malwitz) and Woodrow V. Lex; sister, Marie Keller; and brothers-in-law, Woodrow E. Lex and Vincent Muntner.
To honor Peter's wishes, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family and future burial in Lisbon-Merton Cemetery.
