Our sweet Aunt Betty passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. Betty Jane (Sharp) Cieslinski was born on August 14, 1930, the daughter of Ernest and Hannah (Endline) Sharp. She was the 13th child and the baby of the family, growing up on a farm in Crump. Betty attended country school for a few years before moving into Bay City. She would eventually work for Bay City Chevrolet, retiring after 34 years of service.
In October of 1954 Betty was united in marriage to Roman Cieslinski and they enjoyed 62 years together before his passing on April 25, 2016. They did not have children but were the favorite aunt & uncle to all the nieces and nephews. Betty loved their pets – Taffy the Boxer and the three Schnauzers, Mitzi #1, #2, & #3.
Betty was known for her classy look and zesty taste in clothes. She looked forward to getting her hair done and nails polished. Betty enjoyed many things over the years - bowling, playing cards and going out for dinner – but she loved spending time with her family! She is survived by 11 nieces and 11 nephews & their spouses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Hannah Sharp; husband, Roman and 4 brothers and 8 sisters.
Cremation has taken place and no visitation or services are scheduled. Please visit the Penzien- Steele Funeral Home website to leave a condolence or your favorite story about Aunt Betty.

Yesterday

We will miss you aunt Betty. Playing cards, having Kentucky fried dinners and just sitting around talking with the family. I miss seeing you and mom sitting on the deck soaking up the Sun.
Sat hi to everyone and I hope to meet again one day....love you Marsha
