Peter Dobberstein Obituary
Peter graduated from Naperville Central High School in 1976 and retired from the Naperville Post office after 40 years.
He was an associate member of VFW Post 4031 in Naperville, IL, an active member of NALC (National Association of letter carriers and a union member of the USPS in Naperville. Peter will be remembered for being a skilled craftsman and handyman, and his love of watching sports on TV, especially golf and Nascar. He was a skilled golfer who enjoyed golfing with his friends and was always ready to lend a hand to help his friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Naperville VFW, 908 Jackson Avenue, Naperville on Friday November 7th from 5 until 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of Flowers, contributions in honor of Peter can be made to the VFW Post 3873. Address is 908 Jackson Avenue, Naperville, IL 60540 or visit the VFW Foundation website.

Pete-- Thanks for being just a phone call away and helping me through some difficult times---Glad we had the chance to spend some time together in our retirement years. I will for sure miss those chats we had where we could solve all the world's problems in about an hour or so. R.I.P. friend -- until we meet again.

We where just together at the end of August and had a few good laughs together.
