Peter J. Falco

Peter J. Falco, age 90 of Wyckoff, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Peter was born in Jersey City and has resided in Wyckoff for the past nine years. Prior to his retirement, he was a Machinist with Western Electric in Kearney, NJ for over 35 years.
Peter was predeceased by his first wife, June Falco in 1975. He was blessed with finding love a second time around and married Irene in 1977.
Pete was an avid reader but the one thing he loved most was spending time with his family and friends.
Peter is survived by his wife, Irene Falco of Wyckoff and his two children; Christine Farrington and her husband, Ray of Wyckoff and Peter Falco and his wife, Vivian of Pound Ridge, NY, his two step sons; Robert Oehrlein and his wife, Ellen Mary of Oakland, NJ and Michael Oehrlein and his wife, Lynda of East Stroudsburg, PA. Also surviving are Peter's three grandchildren; Julie Kirkpatrick (Jon), Peter Falco (Erika), and Jessica Walter (Mick), five step grandchildren; Jacquelyn, Julianna, Robert and Michael Oehrlein and Jessica Marrero and four great grandsons; Blake, and Keegan Cole and Levi and Theodore Walter. Also surviving are his two brothers; George Falco and his wife, Maryann of Bayville, NJ and Francis Falco and his wife, Annette of Brielle, NJ. In addition to being predeceased by his first wife, June, he is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Eleanor Falco and two brothers; Robert and Donald Falco.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A private cremation will be held.
